£5 million gift establishes LBS Catalyst Fund

A major investment advancing ideas, evidence and education to shape business’s long-term impact on society.

A generous £5 million gift from longstanding supporters of London Business School has established the LBS Catalyst Fund – an ambitious initiative that will help shape the future of responsible business leadership.

The five-year fund will accelerate the School’s work in tackling critical global challenges, including climate change, inequality and technological transformation, while advancing relevant teaching, research and real-world impact.

Designed to be flexible and responsive, the Catalyst Fund enables LBS to invest in high-impact ideas as they emerge, supporting innovation across the curriculum, rigorous research, and initiatives that influence business and policy.

This philanthropic commitment reflects the vital role of donor support in driving the School’s mission forward. As part of the Forever Forward campaign, it will help equip current and future leaders with the insight and judgement to create long-term value for business and society.
