Living the 100-year life: leading and thriving in an age of longevity, is the latest podcast in the series. Dean Sergei Guriev, Professor Lynda Gratton and Andy Biggs, Group CEO of the Phoenix Group, discuss how longer lifespans are transforming the way we live and work, bringing rigorous research directly into real-world conversations.

They explore why pension reform is needed to maintain retirement standards for most of the population, as well as the importance of re-skilling and building transferable skills within an aging work force. Lynda advises we need to move away from the traditional three-stage life model, toward a “multi-stage life” model where there are “a lot more transitions” between education, work and retirement. These changes will require leaders to embrace age diversity in the workplace, together with adapting to, and welcoming, new approaches.
