The Greek Friends Scholarship Fund creates life-changing opportunities for talented Greek or Cypriot students to join Graduate Masters Programmes.

Established through the generous support of the Greek Alumni Club and its friends, it is the first-ever scholarship fund at LBS initiated by a national alumni club.

We know the biggest obstacles for potential students are fees and the cost of living in London. Scholarships have the power to help people overcome these challenges, ultimately transforming lives. By increasing our scholarship offering, we attract more of the best and brightest applicants from diverse backgrounds.

The first round of the scholarship was awarded at the beginning of the academic year of 2024/25 to Thodoris Pampoukis MiM2025, from Santorini.

Thodoris said: “I am very proud to be the first-ever Greek Friends Scholarship recipient. All my troubles were put to rest when I received the Greek Friends Scholarship. Now I’m very happy to embark on my LBS journey whilst trying to be the best version of myself.

“I believe Greek people are some of the warmest and most community-centred people in the world. Having more students from Greece on the campus would help foster a brighter and warmer environment. There are many talented people in Greece who are unable to access the opportunity to study abroad, but whose skills could be put to good use.”

Thank you to everyone whose generosity made the scholarship a possibility. To find out more about the Greek Friends Scholarship Fund, contact Shazia Syed, Development Manager at London Business School at ssyed@london.edu.
