London Business School turns 60 this year. We’ve seen significant growth and transformation since our beginnings in 1964. From the modest confines of Northumberland Place, our footprint now spans Sussex Place, the Sammy Ofer Centre and our thriving campus in Dubai. And with more than 54,000 alumni, it’s fair to say that LBS is now deeply embedded in every major financial hub worldwide.

But despite decades of change, one thing has remained the same. Our students, alumni, faculty and staff form the backbone of LBS, collectively driving our mission to have a profound impact on the world of business – and through business, on the world itself.

This enduring commitment to excellence is reflected in the pride our alumni feel about being a part of such a prestigious institution. It’s fitting that in our milestone year, LBS has been recognised in the top ten of all significant global rankings for our degree and Executive Education programmes – a testament to the quality and influence of our education.

During our anniversary year, we’ll reflect on our accomplishments but also share what we plan to achieve in the future. Because what’s the point of looking back, if we don’t look forward? Our Forever Forward campaign is a key part of the School’s investment in the future, helping us to meet our ambitions. There’s still so much we can achieve together in ‘The Second Sixty.’

Take a look at the video for more details.

Maybe you’ll be joining us this year at our Worldwide Alumni Celebrations, themed around 60 years of impact. If not, there will be more details about how to get involved coming soon.

Let’s continue to move Forever Forward, together.
