London Business School has always been committed to reshaping business education, but today, the need is more critical than ever. I’m pleased to share that the School’s Forever Forward campaign has a renewed focus on three specific themes vital to making a positive impact in a rapidly evolving world, all articulated in detail in our recently refreshed campaign Case for Support. As Dean Guriev explains in this video, “We’re not just preparing students for the world as it is but equipping them to create the world as it should be.”
Gifts to the School through the Campaign will have a direct impact on breaking down barriers to education by championing global talent, developing reflective, ethical business leaders who can communicate across borders; shaping the future of business to harness digital transformation and new ways of working across longer lives; and advancing sustainability, enabling businesses and leaders who can develop responsible solutions for people and the planet.
I am proud to lead the Advancement team at LBS. We are responsible for liaising with our alumni community, which comprises more than 58,000 people from 179 nationalities spanning 160 countries, so we really understand the importance of representing diverse global perspectives.
We also understand that the Forever Forward campaign is so much more than just ‘fundraising’. It’s delivering real-world value for our philanthropic partners, many of whom are alumni, who want to see the tangible impact of their investment in the School that transformed their lives.
It has been particularly energising to see the excitement within our community following the announcement of the landmark gift of £25 million to establish London Business School’s first endowed research institute. We look forward to working closely with many other philanthropists who are exploring how, together, we can shape business and the world for the better.
The Forever Forward campaign celebrates the power of our community to unite and tackle today’s most pressing global challenges. Do get in touch to find out more.
