A decade after meeting at LBS, Executive MBA alumni and Forever Forward campaign vice-chairs Dr Fiona Pathiraja and Søren Fryland Møller have given back to the School by supporting a new lecture theatre in the Plowden Building, which has been named in their honour.

Fiona, an NHS doctor, and Søren, a Danish investor, first met as classmates. Their story reflects the very essence of LBS, a melting pot of global perspectives, lifelong friendships and transformative experiences.

“LBS didn’t just shape our careers, it changed the course of our lives. The return on investment of meeting your life partner is limitless,” reflects Fiona.

For Fiona and Søren, the decision to give back to the School was clear. Their gift represents not only gratitude for the life-changing experiences they shared here, but also a commitment to strengthening the community that shaped them. The newly named lecture theatre symbolises their hope that generations of students will continue to find inspiration, opportunity and bold ideas within its walls, just as they once did.

By investing in LBS’s future, Fiona and Søren are helping to ensure that the School remains a place where lives are transformed, perspectives are broadened and innovation thrives.
